Studio Encanto is excited to offer two painting workshops in our lovely St. Petersburg, Florida, with our impressionist artist, Violetta Chandler. We will take you to some of Violetta's favorite spots in this picturesque city to paint plein air and help you nourish your talent.
Downtown St. Petersburg, Florida, is located on the waterfront with beautiful parks, bridges and sites to delight any artist. It is also the home of the renowned Dali Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of the American Arts and Craft Movement, The James Museum, and many more.
About Violetta Chandler
Violetta is a Fifth Generation Artist, with a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from the Ushinskly State Institute, Odessa, Ukraine, a Collegiate Professor, Judge and Advisor for National Arts and Letters Society, and Member of Fine Arts Society of Sarasota.
Violetta has earned a number of awards. Her paintings have been the subject of various television documentaries and publications. She has taught in many places, including The Ringling School of Art and Design, Sarasota, Florida; St. Petersburg Community College, Gulf Coast Museum of Art, Indian Rocks Beach Art Center, and Suntan Art Center. Studio Encanto will be offering two separate five-day workshops this Autumn.
First Five-Day Workshop - October 10th - 14th, 2022 - Cost for 5 days / 6 hours per day - $420
Second Five-Day Workshop - November 7th - 10th, 2022 - Cost for 5 days / 6 hours per day - $420
Each six-hour day will include the following:
Transportation for those attending from out of town
Demonstration by Violetta
Painting plein air
Picnic lunches provided by Studio Encanto
Afternoon tea / beverage
Constructive critiques at the end of the day
Easels will be provided for those attending from out of town
In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to visit one of the City's museums on Thursday afternoon with a Question and Answer session at the end of the day.
